Who We Are:

The Friends of the Paint Creek Trail was formed in 2010. The purpose of the group is to promote the usage, maintenance, and improvements of the Paint Creek Trail. Since our inception, we have raised over $1,000 for a bridge replacement project, and over $2,000 toward trail improvements. Some projects we'd like to complete include a new drinking fountain at our Tienken Trailhead, additional rest rooms, and annual trail stewardship projects (invasive species removal, for example). Your participation level is up to you. Do you have an interest in cycling events? We have openings on our Paint Creek Crawl subcommittee. Looking to network with other cyclists? Consider leading our bike club. We also have interests in landscaping, walking clubs, fundraising, and event coordination.

There is no charge to join our Friends group, but any and all donations are tax-deductible. You can donate online via PayPal below, or by mailing a check to Friends of the Paint Creek Trail, 4393 Collins Road, Rochester, MI 48306

The Friends of the Paint Creek Trail is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, created to give trail users the opportunity to help plan for the future of the trail, and to assist with the environmental stewardship of the Trail. Membership is free. However, donations are appreciated and increase the effectiveness of our activities. All donations are tax-deductible.
